I dont think Recchi should be playing 2nd line minutes on a team competing for the cup anymore....

Also, who the hell will play defense on a line of JVR Giroux and Briere???? Yes, Giroux is a good defensive player, but he sure as heck is not going to be able to cover for Briere and a rookie...

I would be fine with Gauthier on a cheaper contract as a #6. He is good in the locker room and if he isnt playing more than 8-9 minutes a game can be effective. He was playing too much when he was here before.

These are the kind of players that you need on your third pairing in the cap era....or a rookie.

I especially dont mind with the top 4 we now have who will probably suck up about 50 minutes a game anyway
