I said they lost an important player. Scuderi was an important player for the Pens the last few years. They are in a cap bind and they couldn't pay him. That's it. Remind where that has anything to do with the playoffs or repeating a cup victory?

The idea of getting players that without the cap would otherwise be unavailable does not mean in any way, shape or form that the team losing said player is going to go from great to suck. Don't really care how well the Pens do next year. I'm glad we added Scuderi. If there was no cap, the Pens would have kept him and we wouldn't have him.
