i guess he wasnt too good at that either, what made it wose is the dude was short so his helmet hit me, what made it better than it acutally could have been is that he wasnt too fast like higher level players, and i always wear schoulder pads even in pickup hky. the doc agreed and said i could have torn things even worse and also broke a collar bone (which was my initial thought).

The important part about any injury is to stay in good spirits: keeping rehabbing and working on it, resting, and talk to people close to you. i didnt and my grades dropped and i became less social because i stopped going to classes and going out. partially because it hurt like hell to put on a backpack and walk 10 mins to classes, and i felt so weak and everything b/c of the torn and pulled muscules and such. I havent had many injuries so it was difficult copping and not playing.
