Dean might luck out if this does happen and he swoops in quickly. He thought it would just be poor cap management, but instead, a clerical error could result in getting top young talent because the team can not afford to keep it!

That would be pretty funny.

After the Hawks leapfrogged us to grab Kane, ******* 'EM, I will laugh all summer if we can grab Versteeg (hell, throw in an Eager too ) and Chicago, even with Hossa, drops off because of this after losing a bunch of key young players.
