Well, I can only say for this game, but all of them actually looked pretty good, though maybe Hamilton just sucks.
Seidenberg was good on the PP and moved the puck well, played good D and threw 2 pretty decent hits. He also got shook out of his jock that caused the first PP goal against.
Pitkanen was active all day and started a lot of rushes. He didn't throw any big hits but was involved and played pretty solid D. He also got a late penalty for chasing down someone who gave Nitty a late slash and roughed it up with him.
Umberger didn't get a huge amount of ice time because of all the special team time, but he plays on a line with Josh Gratton and Stafford, and Umberger had some good scoring chances. He looked very fast and threw a few hits. He also got blasted by Trevor Daley (who also looked good).
Eager was on the 4th line with Cote and Smith, the goon line. However, that line played very well with their ice time, and Eager especially brought a lot of energy to the ice, played physical, controled the puck well and got an assist on the Cote goal.
Printz was a huge suprise to me. He made a goof or two, but generally was very solid on D, used his body well and his reach, threw two very very good hits, one that could have been exlposive but he missed part of it, and had a blast that ended up with White getting the rebound. He moved the puck ok. If he can improve a little on his decision making he could be a real prospect, because he played physical but has some offensive upside.
Nitty played well, but wasn't tested to much. Two of the goals were deflections that he had no chance on.
