If its swollen I would suggest some advil.... Don't do much to aggravate it more, as it could get worse.... The best thing to do is just let it be until its fully healed but you have a tryout coming up. So just ice, rest, advil it up till the try out but if you can't handle the pain I would suggest you tell the coach your hurting.
