I hope so. I still think that's where this is going.

I guess it depends wheter or not the two sides (bettman in particular) still have any hold on reality. If they do they'll realize that they can't afford to lose a whole season and compromise.

besides, I really think it's the best option, works pretty well in the NBA. Promotes parity and keeps cost in control, but it destroy a teams ability to keep a good team together or a free agents right to get paid.
