At this point I'm finally ready to add Byers. Those who are calling him a foregone conclusion as a 4th liner are selling him short. I agree that in no scenario could he ever project to have 1st line upside, but he definitely could prove to be an effective 3rd liner, with like a 2% chance of maybe even reaching 2nd line status. All he's ever done since we drafted him is surprise.

I will take him over someone like Bourque who has great skills... which will be meaningless if mother nature doesn't gift him with 2-3 more inches and 30 pounds. (Did you see the pictures of him at the draft? His dad - never known to be a giant - absolutely towered over him.) Don't get me wrong, I hope that Bourque has that growth spurt, but until he does, I rank him below Dane.

For the love of all that's holy, add Boyle!
