I like mine medium. Usually put it on the infra-red for about 3-4 minutes per side to sear it, and thus help hold the juices in, and then cook it for another 3-4 minutes per side to get to where it needs to be. I always use tongues, never a fork, and have learned to cook with one hand while a beer is in the other.
