You guys are delusional if you think Rosy/Redden is the top defensive pairing. They are not hated (at least by me) simply because of their contracts. They have gaping holes in their game. I worry about putting them together because of the incompetence on the ice at one time. For those who defend Rosy, watch him pass the puck out of the zone. He can't do it. His main strength (IMO) is defending one on one. And Redden, to call him a hole would be kind. Staal and Girardi are an entire level above them. I understand if you think they are not a legit NHL #1 pairing, but that says nothing of their relation to Rosy/Redden.
