Any wooden blade should be fine. I've had 3 Koho wooden sticks in like the past 8 years and they all hold up like champs. The first one broke because the blade ended up being like 3/4 of an inch tall and a friend broke it. The second one ended up breaking after like 2-3 years. The third is still going strong. I played a lot the first 5 years and not so much with my newest stick. Also actually used the newest one for a couple shifts of ice hockey when I broke my ice hockey stick and didn't have a composite back up.
