I wouldn't read too much into this. Now, I like save percentage as a stat. I think it's a fairly good (though not perfect) indicator of a goalie's overall play, but save percentage numbers now aren't the same as they were 10 or even 5 years ago. It used to be that a .900+ save percentage was a decent starter, now anyone under .910 is considered subpar, with some goalies topping .925 regularly. That was unheard of 5 years ago.

So good for Lundqvist, but it means little to me.
