You know, as much as Gallagher was obviously anti-Burke etc, usually he pissed me off because there was solid backing for his criticisms.
I'm not saying he was balanced - he definitely searched out and found as much negativity as he could - it's just that his pieces were much better sourced than this. He didn't resort to this type of backstabbing - he openly laid out his differences.
Frankly, I think he was a better writer when he was critical - his current pom-pom waving posture doesn't fit quite right.
