Now, obviously for this to work, Anaheim would have to go with 3 scoring lines. What would the other two be is the question. Personally I'd like to see this:
R2-Getzlaf-Perry (Another plus with this R2 shoots left)
Brown-EC or Ebbet-Parros
Or if they want to go complete offense, replace Marchant with EC or Ebbet.
I'm not sure I like Lupul and Ryan on the 3rd line, though. Getzlaf should be getting at least 20 minutes a game. Spreading out the remaining scoring to the 2nd and the 3rd line seems like we might not be getting as much out of players like Selanne, Koivu, Ryan, and Lupul as we should be.
I like the idea of throwing R2 in a Kunitz-type role. He, according to everything I've heard and seen, has incredible speed, hits like a truck, and is very strong on the forecheck... but I'd rather have 2 really strong scoring lines and and one pretty good 3rd scoring line than trying to create 3 really good scoring lines that may not get enough ice time.
