Richards is a stud. Plain and simple. The guy was on fire before he got hurt last season, averaging about a point a game while the Stars started to put together a winning streak. He was abused in Tampa, playing 24-25 mins a night on a losing team with garbage goaltending and garbage defense. He was excellent down the stretch for the Stars as his minutes were cut because they had Ribiero on the top line.

In reality, Drury is the guy who should bounce. He's not capable of centering a top line, all his points on the PP come as a winger, and he is in danger of finding his way to the third line like he did in the 2008 playoffs and parts of 2009.

Richards would solve a whole of of problems on this team. I'd welcome the guy with open arms.
