The team will gain notoriety up there if/when it wins. Did anyone ever see a Cavs jersey in Columbus back when the team was a total joke?
And also, I recall the ABJ actually having a couple of decent pieces on hockey a couple of years ago. Then Tom Reed got hired by the Dispatch. Seeing as newspapers are dying a very quick death, I don't think covering a hockey team is that important to them anymore.
