First and foremost, take Todd White off that list.

In 11 seasons he's had 1 40+ assist season.

Aside from last season's anamoly he's recorded 1 season in the last 5 of more than 30 assists.

I would go with Savard as my first choice if we could get him. I have been a huge fan of his since his draft year. was putting up very similar numbers to Big Joe T in Juniors. Had he been 2 inches taller and 15 pounds heaiver he would have went top 5 in 1995 as opposed to falling to the 4th round

2nd choice would be Ribiero. Emerging top line center (WAY WAY better than Todd White)

3rd would be PM Bouchard. He didn't have chemistry with Gabs in a completely different environment and system. Allowing them both a bit mor eoffensive freedom could do wonders.

last would be Richards. A solid player no doubt. Legit 1st line center, but very soft. Not sure he would be able to excel here in NY

Legwand? We already have him in Dubinsky.
