I don't know what Wells Fargo is paying, but if it is anything similar then it doesn't seem worth it to take a great name like the Philadelphia Spectrum, which the building could be called now, and make it the Wells Fargo Center, which sounds like an old people's home.
I believe there was a lump sum payment for naming rights when the building was getting funded during construction. Thus why we have seen: Corestates, First Union, Wachovia, and now, apparently, Wells Fargo.

Those are all bank buys.
