Here in Quebec, you get to hear some pretty weird on ice talk. Mostly strange combinations of English slang and French slang.

Because of that, the commands are pretty much simplfied.

Lots of "desous" (get that dude now!), and simple English terms like "behind", "forecheck", "slot", "back-back-back" (backcheck!!!).

It's weird because growing up being a different language from my team mates, I never said much on the ice, but you grow into it. It is a serious weakness to not communicate.

Now... I usually use the first name of the player, then the directive.
