Seriously, it Kenny Powers was a real person, and played hockey instead of baseball, his name would be Rob Schremp.
It seems pretty clear to me he logically believes the hockey skills he possesses are of the offensive nature and he will never be a true defensive player like the MacT era wanted him to become.

Hundreds of NHL's have successful careers being offensive guys with average to below average defensive skillsets. Many of those guys did not have the pucks skills and hockey sense Schremp has.
