He is going to an ivy league college so something tells me he might be a tad smarter than most of us. perhaps the reason he went back to school was to get an education which is something that should be admired not looked at badly.

Perhaps if the nhl was in session he would have signed because he would have a shot at playing for the rangers but riding a bus for a year in hartford might not be as appealing as being a hero at an ivy league school. You are only 20 once.

Lets also not forget he trained with kasper all offseason in tarrytown and this was a freak injury
