If you go back to when Rozsival was with the Pens he had a pretty serious injury history. If you go back, you will see Rozsival played one game in the 2003-2004 season. That was due to a very serious knee injury that caused him to miss pretty much the entire season. He then had surgery last offseason on his hip. Gaborik has had 2 major surgeries on his 2 hips and he didnt even miss an entire season last year. Granted Rozsival has been much more healthy since coming to the Rangers but that is part of the reason the Rangers were okay with signing Gaborik, because Rozsival had the same surgery last offseason and, while it took some time, he was able to come back and play pretty well.

I think it is more precautionary than anything else, no need to over react until we collectively have all the facts in front of us.
