Ill post a few late thoughts,
Our top line looked good and they didnt really even try. I remember several sequences they were just trying to do a set play even if the puck went elsewhere and not go all out.
Weber manhandled the Thrashers, while they players were just grinders and AHLers they were not small.
Sulzer may be the whipping boy this year, he is a good player but he has perhaps the most boring, unspectacular game around. He will help the team.
Laakso was my darkhorse to make the team and I still think he will do it. We need to replace Zanon and well Zanon never did any spinorama goals. Defensively was solid and threw out some hits.
Ellis looks to be a steal in the draft. As is stated he looks small but has great smarts and has no fear either.
Franson has a rocket shot and size. But cant hit anything with the shot, is slow and cannot play defense.
As for the rest of the forwards I can't really say anything else, they ALL played smart 2 way games and you guys know Wilson stood out offensively.
