renney & maloney have both said several times since the draft that korpikoski is a few years away and is the type of guy that you leave in europe and basically forget about him for 2 years, then you bring him over and he'll be ready...

like with most prospects PATIENCE is the key...these kids aren't going to all be nhl-ready next year
Yes, but in Hartford he could learn Renne's system and adjust to smaller ice surface, which he will not do in Finland.
