Lundmark's time has just about come and gone... yes, age is still slightly on his side but he will be 24 in Jan or Feb, and if he doesn't have some kind of breakthru season in Hartford, that will pretty much close the books on this one... I for one don't believe he will even be an NHL player...

His best and only chance is to mold his game around a guy like Jason Blake, in which case Lundmark will have to play a very agitating game, defense-oriented game, though not all out physical... he has the wheels, but his offensive skills are overrated beyond belief... his ability to make plays in stride and his creativity leave much to be desired for a high first round pick...
