Finally solved. OKT and Parent should be paired with a puck-moving player, and they should not play together. OKT will play against the tougher teams, Parent can take the soft nights.
I can't see the team splitting Parent/OKT as the 6th/7th dman. I would be shocked if Parent doesn't play (barring injuries) in every game or at the least 9 out of every 10 games. Parent is a future top 4 dman and has proved his worth last season as an everyday player.

This is what I would like to see:
Pronger Carle
Timmonen Coburn
Syvret Parent

If any of the top 4 get hurt, move Parent up and put OKT in his place. If Syvret gets hurt you can just shift a puckmover like Carle down:
Pronger Parent
Timmonen Coburn
Carle OKT
