I wasn't missing him, just putting down the lines as what Stevens seems to be hinting at. I for one sure hope Betts gets signed.
There is no doubt that they seem to be pitting JVR and Pyorola against each other for a spot which I don't totally understand.
I really hope that Pyro is kept on for some kind of role. I love it when guys have multiple layers to their game and he seems to be the kind of guy that makes the players around him better. I remember in early drills they said that Hartnell Carter and Pyro looked great together and then in the last game JVR Giroux and Pyo all looked great together. He is becoming one of more "pulling for him" kind of players. I also like the late bloomers for some reason. I was a huge Rob Valacivic fan when he made the Preds one season.
The great thing about players like him is how even if they aren't scoring they are doing something positive. One of the tings I read into Homers (or Steven I can't remember now) comments is that perhaps JVR needs to be working on his away from the puck play a bit more. We'll see I guess. I'd sure hate to hurt his development if there is a vet who can take his spot until he is ready.
