While Nilsson wouldn't exactly be the type of player we are missing (softish, inconsistent), something about him really intrigues me.

Although he was born in Canada, he played his developmental hockey in Sweden, and something about his style of play and the knocks against him early in his career make me think a lot of guys like M.Naslund and K.Huselius...

maybe it's a stretch, but I could see him "breaking out" into a very solid second line contributor in the next year or two, but also as a guy who really complements another skilled player very well (i'm thinking cammalleri).

in any case, I wouldn't do a straight up deal like the one proposed because I think S.Kost has better upside.
