The higher the pick, though...

I'd assume the higher the likelihood of making an impact in the NHL. Obviouslu you can talk abuot 7th, 8th and 9th rounders making it to the NHL, but not nearly as many, obviously, as first, second and third rounders. Of course, there comes a time in which you don't care where a player was drafted because if he doesn't develop past the draft, nobody cares about positioning of his draft position when he was 17 or 18 years old.
