Sangs and Sauer can't be #7 because they are young and need to play. But if someone goes down, I am fairly certain they can step in and be #6.
Sangs had half a point per game in the AHL, which is a lot, and he showed very solid defensive play in the preseason. I see no reason why he can't play in the NHL.
Dizzy outplayed him, but Spaghetti is ready for NHL duty on the third pair.
