The problem with all these propsals to start the WHA again is that they're too expensive. The league will have to start off in old or secondary arenas because NHL owners control the majority of the premium arenas and are unlikely to offer a rival league space.
Then there's travel costs, this guy at least started off sounding like he knew what he was doing by concentrating the team in Eastern Canada and the Northeast, but then he goes on to talk about a European division in Year 2...the guy is a dreamer.
If he really wants to make it work, then focus on the Northeast, Ontario and Quebec...once you have a league running then you can start thinking about expanding to other markets.
