That bad goal set the tempo for the rest of the team. Players over compensate when the goalie lets in a bad goal, like Greene did on the 2-on-1 with his backward slide / swinging his stick that hit the puck past Quick for another goal.
It was a team bad game, but Quick set the tone early. I think he should still start against SJ, and he should have a much better game.
there were more things we could say about that first goal than we could shake a stick at. several of which we can chalk up to an early season issue that'll eventually square itself away... but a routine save is a routine save is a routine save, and Quick has GOT to make that save.
