Teppo Numminen, D

He's a big, steady, right-handed defenceman who logged a huge number of minutes over his career. He has extensive international experience playing for Finland at all international tournaments, and won two silver medals and a bronze medal in the Olympics.

He played in the 1999, 2000, and 2001 NHL All-Star games. He was 10th in Norris trophy voting in 1997-98, with everyone above him already selected, and 7th in 2001-02, with all but one above him selected. He also received votes in 1995-96, 1998-99, and 1999-00.

Numminen is 12th in non-power play scoring by defencemen since 1989, with 352 points. Every defenceman ahead of him has been drafted. He is also 12th among defencemen in adjusted plus-minus over the same period, at +152.
