I used to love these games. Wake up, "OMG, NYI/NYR TODAY!". I used to sit in school and count down the hours.

Now? Well, last year I didn't watch half of them. I went to one at the Gahden and Danis let in a goal from the blueline from Gomez and from that point on, I Just didn't care about this crap anymore.

Why should I expect anything different? We're "rebuilding", remember? Part of that process is dealing with getting romped by better teams. You are not only better, but much better.

It'll take a miracle of sorts for the Isles to win tonight. That or the Rangers leave their pulse at home. I'll be going back and fourth between that and the Yanks, but these games don't get me up like they used to.

We can thank the NYI for that.
