Handzus is capable of putting up over 60 points with good linemates (put up 58 last year playing mostly with Brashear and LeClair) and is very strong defensively, proven by being a finalist for the Selke a few years ago. The two guys I was thinking about were Smith or Brewer, but I feel Edmonton gets much better value when trading Smith and Philadelphia gets much better value when swapping Handzus with Brewer. So, I really like mercury's idea of Semenov + for Handzus. Both teams trade from positions of great strength and add to positions of weakness, so both teams come out as winners (as long as Semenov develops as planned.)
OT, but would Lydman get it done from Calgary? Maybe add a pick or a prospect?
