Thank you. Actually you will see similar results for the leading goalies for the 1950's and 1960's.

Plante had three playoff runs in the .925 - .950 range during the 1956-60 era.

Given the difference in goalie equipment,lack of goalie coaches or video and the one goalie system until the mid 1960's, the pre 1980 goalies produced remarkable results.
