I broke my pinky last year playing football in the morning, and then I went and played hockey later that evening. It is doable, but the problem is you have to keep closing your hand over the stick, instead of keeping it straight to fix it. Needless to say It did effect my season for the next few games, and the pinky never healed properly because of it.
