You are probably right but the longer the strike lasts , the more likely that there will be players crossing IMO. I feel that the willingness of so many of the players to go over to Europe or even to the AHL to play(obviously not for the money) has been done more as a temporary response to the lockout. That is to say that I don't believe that most of these players would be satisfied with playing in these leagues on a long term basis. Either way , whether it is a long term(more than 1 full season) lockout or strike , it will be a huge disaster for the league IMO.
