My take on the matter is that Carlyle simply intends to ride Hiller quite a bit(which never happened with Giguere, but is happening with Hiller), and Giguere realizes he won't be playing much at all. Either way, up until now his attitude has never come into question, and even now he hasn't demanded a trade at all.
Alright, I'll just have to trust you in this situation. I just found it weird that he chooses now of all times to say something even if he was being questioned as the starter before.
