It is not intention to have you "do the project". The USSR was famous for being very closemouthed about pretty much everything, therefore there is no easy way for anyone else to get any information whatsoever. I believe that I mentioned that in the first post, therefore I already acknowledged that it is not easy information to get. Give me a bit of credit here- I'm not an idiot.

Primarily, I am looking for information on how the USSR chose and trained their hockey players in the middle to late 20th century and how players defecting to the NHL affected their hockey programs.

I have a lot of information on the list you gave me, but isn't bandy a lot like field hockey on ice?
