Not good. We were able to set up pretty easily on the power play, and even strength as well. They collapsed pretty readily and didn't have much luck going after the puck in corners or putting pressure on guys on the outside. I don't think there was just one part of the Rangers game that wasn't there tonight, though. Offensively they never really seemed to click, and a lot of their shots were more desperation shots than good scoring chances. They had moments when they looked pretty solid, but they were short-lived. Carter was the guy I noticed who really seemed to always be putting in a good effort. Dunham let in a couple of softies, I thought. I think he could've dropped his stick to stop Zholtok's breakaway goal.. not much zip on that shot at all. If I were the coach I would blame everyone though, and not point fingers. I certainly don't think the score is indicative of the team. I expect the home opener will look a lot different.
