the reason the european soccer leagues are supperior is becouse that's where the most money is (and it doesn't hurt that they produce alot of talent in europe.) We may end up with a situation where the European leagues are close the the north american league, but theres still going to be more money in north america. And the fact that North America still produces aroun 50% of NHL players should ensure that any North American league remains highly visible.
