It makes me question whether or not you understand the ins and outs of the game of hockey. I still play at a decently competitive level of hockey, and most of my teammates dip. A lot of the players I played with previously that have moved on to high-level juniors and college dip.

As far as this thread goes, for example, if my team knows that someone on the other team has bruised ribs (for the sake of argument), you better believe we're going to be playing the body on that guy as much as possible with an emphasis towards his upper body. It's not about being dirty, it's about exploiting any possible advantage you can.

I'm not involved in the NHL, obviously, but I would bet a lot of money that the other teams have no idea what Smyth's, Stoll's, or Scuderi's injuries are. The Kings are going to keep those as secret as possible for the exact reason I just stated. It's not BS; it's the way it is.
