Plus those 3 dont pk so now we are going to use Richards and Carter more on the pk
Its a pretty big shakeup since half these players are rookies and some havent played on the same line before. Richards played with Briere and JVR maybe a handful of times. Giroux has never played with Carter. Pyorala played a period centering Lappy and Carcillo. Its a big chance...
Uh, you might want to check the last game. Giroux played RW with Richards and Hartnell vs. Coyotes. Pyorala moved up from 4C to 3C between Carcillo and Lappy and looked very good. Would putting Ross between Carc and Lappy be better?
The ONLY change in this whole lineup that is not necessitated injuries is flipping Carter and Richards, which can be reversed by the third shift if it's not going well.
Sorry, but losing two of your regular PK guys, Betts and Powe, means that Carter and Richards will have to do more PK, or let Hartnell and Giroux do more. They don't have a lot of choices. Ross and Nodl are both capable of filling in on the PK if necessary too.
And playing three Phantoms more than 5 minutes would be nice if they prove up to it.
I call flipping your 1aC with your 1bC a
shakeup. Esp. given that it reunites Carter/Hartnell and Richards/Briere.
