White outplayed Maxwell in the U-17's from what I recall. I saw the gold medal game and was a fan ever since, White was doing it all, hitting, passing, shooting, blocking shots. Maxwell I'm not as high on as others, but with White improving his skating a good bit since they were drafted, he's closed the gap between the two. I think what happened in Hamilton last year, was that WHite ran into a major slump and perhaps he had trouble getting his confidence back, as he didn't have the best year (spent most of it on the 4th line, while Maxwell was one of the clubs top players) but it was in the playoffs when he stepped up and got moved up to the 3rd line.

In the preseason tournament this year, Timmins said he felt White was the most improved Bulldog from last year, so he must have worked hard over the summer cause you could see a big turn around in his play right away.
