'04-'05 Season [att: GuyF]

A question for those of you that are familiar with some of the finer points of the NHL's CBA. Providing the NHL has a lockout for the '04-'05 season, who will be eligible to play for the Roadrunners that year?? Will any player that can be sent down without having to clear waivers be able to go down, or is there some other restriction on this?? Or is every guy who is signed with the Oil ineligible?? If the league is still locked out, would the Oil be able to bring over a guy like Niinimaki or Mikhnov and put him in the AHL until a settlement is reached??

Depending on who is able to go down, the AHL could be a fun league to watch that year. The Roadrunners could be a smoking good team if some of our younger guys were still eligible to play.

A few Monday ponderings.....
