I don't think you can consider Kotalik a top 6 forward because his play at even strength has been horrible. To me he is nothing more than a PP specialist. Prospal, Avery, Drury, Callahan and Higgins are all capable of being top 6 forwards IF they have an elite (or at least very good) playmaker on their line. By themselves they can not get it done. This is kind of stating the obvious, but we are 1 very good playmaker away from having a solid top 6...unfortunately it will be very hard to get that because Drury is making the kind of money we need to get that kind of player.
