Dan Cloutier Snaps in Return

Looks like Dan Cloutier has not mellowed with age. He was playing for the Rockford Icehogs against the Moose on Monday night when he snapped and was tossed from the game:
Dan Cloutier, the former Vancouver Canucks goaltender, started for Rockford in his first game in more than a year and a half, but he didn't stick around long.

Cloutier, who was coming off two hip surgeries, got tossed from the game early in the second, with Manitoba leading 1-0, after losing it in a skirmish with Moose forward Guillaume Desbiens.

Cloutier received a match penalty, apparently for throwing pieces of his equipment at Desbiens.

No word if he re-injured himself while hurling his equipment at Guillaume Desbiens.

He did however earn himself a suspension in his first game back since the Paleolithic Era.
The AHL also announced that Rockford IceHogs goaltender Dan Cloutier has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game vs. Manitoba on Dec. 6.

Cloutier was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 51.4 after being assessed a match penalty for roughing.

Cloutier will miss Rockford’s game on Friday (Dec. 11) at Texas.

You go, Dan.
