One excellent scoring and puck possession line in ZZ-Force, a second scoring line featuring a 30 goal scorer and two of the better clutch playoff performers of the last ten years in Elias and Langenbrunner, both of whom have had Conn Smyth worthy performances in the past.

The third line is a gritty forecheck unit, with the excellent rookie Zharkov matched with a big body in Zubrus and one of the better physical forwards in standout 20 goal man David Clarkson, and the fourth line is an elite shutdown unit featuring three elite shutdown forwards.

The defense has Souray paired with Martin, a nice combination of grit, offense, and Martin can cover for Souray's defensive flaws. The second pairing is the defensive unit that has anchored NJ for the last few months with a d-man who put up 50 points this season and NJ's best shot-blocker, and the last pairing is just mean, solid physical defense.

Brodeur is Brodeur.
