The other option would be to break up Jokinen-Cullen-Ruutu and put Ruutu on the first line, but that would be pointless as that's the only line that has shown anything resembling chemistry the entire season.
It's more about getting a forechecker on that line without breaking up the chemistry of the Jokinen-Cullen-Ruutu line and leaving some balance so that the Caps can't just focus on trying to shut down the Staal line.
